I am so happy we have a dog. They keep each other entertained. If I could just get Kyle and Daisy to snuggle like that!

O Christmas Tree

Well, it's not much of a tree but at least it's something. Since Brett's gone and we'll be at my parents for Christmas I decided that it wouldn't be worth getting a big tree. The house seemed a little too depressing without one at Christmas time so this is what we got. I think it's a beautiful tree!

Ella's first trip to the movies

Ella went and saw her first movie! She did really good. We watched Madagascar 2 and she loved it. We went with out neighbors Mary and her daughter Kat. We were so surprised that she sat through the whole thing. The trick is to go during nap time.

Our neighbor gave me curlers to curl Ella's hair to go along with her princess costume. She had curlers in her hair for over 2 hours! I am so surprised that she didn't rip them out. This picture reminds me of an old lady with her curlers set!

My Birthday...

Well, I'm another year older and another year closer to 30. But, I had a great relaxing birthday. Brett and Ella made me a delicious cake with pink frosting, my favorite!

Disney World!!

These are pictures from our vacation to Orlando with my family. We had such an amazing time! I wish we could do it every year. We had such a fun time with my family, especially spending some quality time with Kyle. After spending a week together I'm pretty sure he's out of missionary mode. He's back to his old self. Ella loved spending time with her cousins and had so much fun at Disney World and Sea World. I would go back everyday just to watch her get so excited about everything!

Last week my mom came and spent a few days with us. It was really nice. She was a big help. She really took care of us. It's always comforting to have family pat us on the back and say "everything is going to be ok". We are so lucky to have such great families who love us. They are always there when we need then. Whether it's to give us advice, put us in our place or listen to us cry. We are so grateful for all they do and we love them very much! What would we do without you?

Finger Painting

Well, we tried finger painting a few weeks ago. I thought for sure she was going to either eat it or try to paint the dog, but she did really good. She knew exactly what to without me having to show her. Smart girl!
